Jolanda Neff took no prisoners as she killed all competition in womens Elite XCO European Championships in Huskvarna, Sweden.
First lap started with Swiss Jolanda Neff leading a pursuit for European titel and in the first climb she had opened up a small gap to the rest. But Danish Annika Langvad showed strength as she caught the gap and stayed in the wheel leaving Sabine Spiz in third.
A large crowd started to grow around the track loudly cheering for local rider Alexandra Engen who proved she´s a top rider as she plowed through the field up to 19th place. In the fierce climb Engen still showed big appreciation for al the support from the roaring crowd.
On third lap Neff made a push for the lead leaving Langvad 20 seconds behind with Spitz another 40 seconds behind. Neff would keep increase the gap down to Langvad who controlled her secondplace towards Spitz in third, also with a distance to riders in the back.
The podium was then settled leaving Neff in a comfortable win ahead of Langvads and Spitz. Alexandra Engen enjoyed the support from a large crowd and climbed to 12th position and shined like the wonderful sun over Huskvarna.
