There are 17 teams battling for medals. Startlist

We think you should keep an extra eye out for France, Switzerland and also Czech Republic (with rides such as Ondrej Cink and top junior Richard Holec).

France – Pauline Ferrand Prevot and Jordan Sarrou are taking care of leg 3 and 4. Prevot is the current World Champion in XCO! Sarrou finishing 13th place at the World Cup start in april will keep the pace up. France also bring relay specialist Victor Koretzhy.

SwitzerlandJolanda Neff, number one at the World ranking women elite. Lars Forster 6th place World Cup i Cairns and 2 U23 WC wins in 2015. Say no more.

However home crowd supported Sweden and also a very interesting setup of team Norway as well as 2015 European Champions Germany are in the bidding. Germany for example Olympic goldmedalist (2008) Sabine Spitz on the team but maybe not the same strength in the team as last year. Ukraine surprised a few with their 4th place in 2015 and are putting a strong team out there also in 2016 with Iana Belomoina, former U23 European Champion as one.

Sweden – Sweden made a final change where Linn Gustafzzon replace Rissveds. Linn has shown great skills in those short races (each leg of the relay is about 12-15 minutes) and have to 3rd places in april (Bad Säckinger and Fiskum). Sweden also have winner of the short race in Bad Säckinger Emil Linde and elite rider Emil Lindgren who trained several years at Huskvarnaberget and also usually have amongst the fastest lap in championship relays.

Norway – looks interesting, Siggerud as a Junior, Sveum and Petter Fagerhaug. We have them on watch.

Some other riders to watch is Great Britain up and coming Grant Ferguson and Evie Richards.
